Billy Thompson played professionally for the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and overseas for Hapoel Jerusalem.
Billy has won championships as a player at all levels, beginning at Camden high school, University of Louisville, Los Angeles Lakers and Hapoel Jerusalem.
He became 1 of 5 players in history to win a college championship and then an NBA championship the very next year, earning him an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Billy also received 3 championship rings from the Miami Heat as one of the Chaplains.
Billy and his wife of 36 yrs Dr. Cynthia are founders of Jesus People Proclaim Church in Deerfield Beach FL where they have pastored for 25 yrs.
Billy continues to play in tournaments here in America and abroad as well as use the Billy Thompson Foundation to help kids be the champions God made them to be. They have five wonderful children, 8 grandkids and two great-grands.
